I paint from photographs that I take wherever I go.  Sometimes, I return to the place and find it is gone or greatly changed.  So, I feel somehow I have “saved the moment.”  This was a stairway with what appeared to be a garden at the top.  I have no idea if it is still there or if it has changed.
