The title of this painting says it all.  I saw this window on a wall in a narrow back street in Keyserberg, France, while walking around the town.  I was attracted by the colors, shapes, and textures of the various stones revealed where the stucco had fallen away.  The linear contrast of the grain of the wood adds to the design.
